We raise our voice to thank Thee,
Our God and Father, true.
That Thou hast called us to be
Thy children, tried and true.
Oh, help us now to honor
Thy high and holy name,
And give us strength to follow
Thy precepts still the same.
Thou didst spare us our life here
'Til we could turn to Thee.
And now we can without fear
Look up for Thee to see.
How far, though, we had drifted
Out on that sea of woe.
Had almost been consumed there
By Satan that old foe.
So further call and beckon
Our loved ones, Lord, we pray.
That they from sin might waken,
Begin this pilgrim way.
So that when time is over
Together, we might be
As saints in Heaven praising
Thy love eternally!
