Born: November 4, 1785, Wellshire, England.
Died: July 20, 1835, Hoboken, New Jersey.
Emigrating to America in 1811, Dyer taught music and directed choirs in New York City and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He later moved to Baltimore, Maryland, and wrote, conducted singing schools in the south and east, and conducted the New York Sacred Music Society. His works include:
