Kocher, Conrad's bio information
Saturday, December 16, 1786 - Tuesday, March 12, 1872
Born: December 16, 1786, Dietzingen (near Leonberg), Württemberg, Germany.
Died: March 12, 1872, Stuttgart, Germany.
Kocher studied piano and composition in St. Petersburg, Russia, in the early 1800’s. He went to Rome, Italy, for further study in 1819, then returned to Germany in 1820. In 1821, he founded the School of Sacred Music in Stuttgart. He also served as organist in the Stiftskirche there. His works include:
