Born: 1830, Boston, Massachusetts.

Died: 1895, Boston, Massachusetts.

Millard studied music in Italy, and was a tenor concert singer. He moved to New York City in 1856, where he taught, sang, and composed. He is remembered for writing an opera, grand mass, and over 300 songs.
