Be true; be true! The Lord is by thee standing;
Joyful with Him at last will be the ending!
Tho' hard the strife and long the conflict be,
Through faithfulness the Lord will honored be!
Be true; be true! For God has crowns awaiting,
Wherewith forever He'll be compensating;
But only if in pain and in distress,
Unto the death we prove our faithfulness.

Become more faithful, loving, kind, and true!
