Lyrics
"Where goest Thou, my Saviour kind?
O Jesus tell Thou me!
I'll follow Thee with heart and mind,
Ne'er to depart from Thee!
Take me with Thee, forsake me not!
With Thee alone I'd be!
I'll be in darkness,
If Thou forsakest me!"
"Take courage now," the Saviour says.
"I do by lead the way.
I now prepare a place for thee,
A Home in endless day!
Forever by my Father there
Who all things doth possess,
I go in kindness to prepare,
For you a place of rest.
In this short time then patient be!
Tho' cares around thee throng,
Tho' cross and suff'ring cumber thee,
Know this 'twill not be long!"
O Jesus tell Thou me!
I'll follow Thee with heart and mind,
Ne'er to depart from Thee!
Take me with Thee, forsake me not!
With Thee alone I'd be!
I'll be in darkness,
If Thou forsakest me!"
"Take courage now," the Saviour says.
"I do by lead the way.
I now prepare a place for thee,
A Home in endless day!
Forever by my Father there
Who all things doth possess,
I go in kindness to prepare,
For you a place of rest.
In this short time then patient be!
Tho' cares around thee throng,
Tho' cross and suff'ring cumber thee,
Know this 'twill not be long!"
