How can there be a Saviour such as Thee,
O, precious Jesus, Thou who loves me so?
In holy rev'rence now I come to Thee,
And praise Thee, Lord, with heart and mind and soul.
How can there be a Father such as Thee,
Omnipotent, the Great "I Was, I Am"?
That Thou for man, a pardon, full and free,
Thy Son, the Ransom, died for ev'ry man.
How can there be a Comforter like Thee,
A Guide so true and faithful as Thou art?
O, Holy Spirit, teach me how to stay
