Thy life live out in me, O Christ, my Lord divine,
Thy life of faith in God alone
Which does Thyself enshrine.
Thy life of love so true and helpful in its grace,
Thy constant love which thinks and cares,
And makes for all a place.
Thy life of patient work wich always onward goes,
And does not turn to left or right,
But finds in God repose.
Thy life of holiness which shines with lustre rare
In holy thought and word and deed,
And loves Thy yoke to bear.
Thy life of faithful prayer and intercession sweet
Which feels and pleads for others' needs,
And lays them at Thy feet.
Thy life of doing good, O live Thou out in me,
O let Thy Spirit on me rest
Which brings men unto Thee.

My cry is still the same, "O Christ,
