By grace I am apprised
Of gifts esteemed;
Filled with the Holy Ghost,
Among Thy chosen host,
I may now take my post,
Ever redeemed!
O, this redemption bond,
It goes so far beyond
My carnal view.
Thy merciful nature
Forever will endure,
And Thy word doth assure
Thy promise true.
As Jesus died for me,
And in the grave did lie
So I the same,
Immersed and buried there,
I'm resurrected where
I no more death shall share.

The body that believes,
Thy Son as head receives

This membership have won,
