O, let us exalt our dear Lord and proclaim,
In songs of true gratitude, praise to His name!
As songs of the angels in sweetest accord,
Our thanks and our praises shall rise to the Lord.

Moravian hymn

Lyrics
Heart with heart in love united,
Seek upon God's heart repose.
Let your love, to flames ignited,
To the Saviour upward flow.
He the Head and we His members;
He the light and we the glow;
He the Master, we His brethren,
In true fellowship we grow.

Come, ye children of Jehovah,
Grace for grace take from above.
Follow on in true submission;
Keep your pledge of faith and love.
Should your love and your affection
Threaten to decrease and wane,
O implore for God's correction
Till its strength it may regain.

May we all so love each other;
May our motive be so pure,
That each member for his brother
Death and torture can endure.
So did Jesus love us truly,
When He shed for us His blood;
You will grieve His heart unduly
If you seek your selfish good.

Each should stimulate the other,
Childlike, tractable and meek,
In the steps of Christ to follow,
Who in death our life did seek.
Let us ever be awakened,
All our powers day by day,
Willingly to give in service
And His kindness to repay.

Hallelujah! Oh, what glory!
Oh, what depth of love we trace,
When we see the heart of Jesus,
Who redeemed our guilty race;
Now He, King of all the spirits,
Is our Father, dear to us
Though invisible, our Master
Yet is truly near to us.

O Thou gracious friend, unite us
As Thy consecrated band;
And, as was Thy last instruction,
May in fervent love we stand!
Do Thou join in sacred nearness
With Thyself and with Thy fold
All who see Thy light and clearness
And Thy glory do behold.

Thus Thy pray'r to God the Father
Its fulfillment shall behold,
When all those whom Thou hast chosen
In His love He would enfold.
As Thou art with them united
They also as one should be
In true love should serve each other,
Finding joy in unity.

Prince of peace! O let Thy concord
Find in us a welcome warm!
Love, O let us ne'er grow weary
Thy blest service to perform.
Naught can ease our earthly burden
And our weariness remove
In our warfare 'gainst the evil,
As the power of Thy love.

Love, since thou hast then commanded
That in love we should be rife,
O revive each drooping spirit,
Bring the dying back to life!
Light the flames of love undying
That each one may plainly see:
We, as of one tribe and family
To one Lord devoted be.

Let us then be so united
As Thou with the Father art,
That not one of Thy weak members
Here on earth shall stand apart.
From the flames of Thy own burning
May our light partake its glow;
And that we are Thy disciples
All the world may surely know.
