The Heavens are praising the name of Jehovah!
His praise through all the world is heard.
The earth and the ocean resound with His glory
Ye mortals hear His wondrous Word.

Who governs the stars in their heavenly splendor,
Who guids the sun upon its way?
It runneth its course in the circuit of heaven,
It lights the world from day to day.

Consider ye mortals, the wonders of nature
Which God in wisdom did create.
Did not our Creator in power and order
For man His wondrous work's instate.

How can we behold the great work of creation
And not feel moved His name to praise?
From whom are these wonders?
O give Him the glory!
Our voice in honor to Him raise?

My Word once created the earth and the heavens
Ye know me by my works and fame.
'Tis I, thy Creator, thy God and thy Father
Today as yesterday the same.

I am the Creator of wisdom and goodness,
The God of order, light, and grace;
Embracing each mortal with love and salvation
Who come before my holy face.
