O, let us exalt our dear Lord and proclaim,
In songs of true gratitude, praise to His name!
As songs of the angels in sweetest accord,
Our thanks and our praises shall rise to the Lord.

Lyrics
This year will quickly come to its end,
And, as we now our voices blend,
We lift our hearts in worship and praise
For God's great help through all our days.
He hath bestowed His grace and blessing,
Now praise to Him we are confessing.

In days gone by, He cared for His sheep;
The Lord, His promise He doth keep.
Afflictions tend to be our portion,
Yet if we trust God's only Son,
Though darkest days or death be nigh us,
God's children know He will supply us.

We hold on to the Saviour's dear hand
When sorrow doth befall our land.
Tho' hardship strikes or health would decline,
We trust God in this earthly clime.
Others may too have cross and sorrow;
His gracious mercy all may borrow.

By God's good mercy, He shares His grace;
Someday we'll see Him face to face.
We find ourselves unworthy while here,
And God yet loves His children dear.
We give our Saviour thanks for His love,
And walk this path to our home above.

O, help us now with our Godly life,
Add strength throughout this new year's strife.
Oh, help us that from sin we may flee;
Renewing heart and mind in Thee,
Keeping Thy Word close within our hearts,
That from Thee, Lord, we would not depart.
