O, let us exalt our dear Lord and proclaim,
In songs of true gratitude, praise to His name!
As songs of the angels in sweetest accord,
Our thanks and our praises shall rise to the Lord.

Lyrics
In dark Gethsemane Jesus did pray,
"Father, if there could be some other way,
Take, now, this cup from Me.
Nevertheless, My plea,
Help Me Thy plan fulfill.
I will obey Thy will!"

On cross of Calvary, nailed to its frame,
Jesus, in agony, suffered its shame!
"Father, forgive," He prayed.
Ne'er was such love portrayed!
"Finished!" His spirit cried.
Bowing His head, He died!

In tomb where Jesus lay, dark was the night.
Dawning of Easter Day brought heaven's light!
Jesus would live again!
God's plan for souls of men!
Winning the victory, living eternally!

May we like Jesus be, yielded and still,
Vision of heaven see, trusting God's will!
Knowing His way is best;
Faith conquers ev'ry test!
No matter come what may, always to God we pray!

Chorus:
Thy will, not mine, be done!
Thy will be done!
Thy will be done!
