Died: May 15, 1816, London, England.

Buried: Saint Pancras churchyard, London, England.

A composer and organist, Webbe was secretary of the Catch Club and librarian of the Glee Club, and was well known for his work “Glorious Apollo.” In 1776, he became organist at the Portuguese embassy chapel.
