God's own teaching to embrace,

Words of life and consolation
Come to us, His congregation,

Full redemption we have won.
May our hearts each day be opened
Unto Thy good Word, O Lord!
Lest our calling be neglected,
Lead us on with one accord!
Let Thy Spirit, we implore Thee,
Teach us how we may adore Thee.
Close to Thee let us remain,
