O, let us exalt our dear Lord and proclaim,
In songs of true gratitude, praise to His name!
As songs of the angels in sweetest accord,
Our thanks and our praises shall rise to the Lord.

Lyrics
Three wise men of old did look to the sky
With awe and amazement to see;
A star in the east did appear, and just why,
They wondered, just what could it be?

The wise men then learned that the star was a sign
That told of the birth of a King.
They knew then that surely this King was divine,
That life and new hope He would bring.

The wise men then traveled by light of the star,
Through desert and mountains so cold;
With gifts for the Savior they journeyed afar,
With frankincense, myrrh, and pure gold.

At Bethlehem village their journey did end;
They knelt down to worship their King.
How thankful they were for the hope God did send;
Rejoicing with joy they did sing.

Chorus:
Behold, a new star in the heavens above
Proclaim with celestial light,
A Savior has come to redeem with God's love!
Rejoice on the glorious night!
