Shepherds, who heard angels sing in the night,
Hastened their walk to take in the sight
Of Baby Jesus' face shining bright.
Simeon and Anna rejoiced to see
God's plan for Israel to set them free!
Simeon blessed God, Jehovah on high,
Anna did speak to those far and nigh,
This Jesus, our Saviour will be!
Wise men from lands in the east did come,
Led by a star shining over His home.
Followed they by the light of that star
Sought they the Saviour, kings from afar
