The spangled night, the brilliant sun, The hosts of heav'n praise Him in unison.
The orchard's beauty glorifies the earth with lovely fruits unnumbered,
Each rolling plain with golden grain, Brings to our mind His heavenly Word.
Our God sends coolness on a breeze; He speaks and thunderclouds assemble.
At His Word, earth and oceans calm; At His Word, earth and oceans tremble.
The Lord is great! To Him shall soar my soul on wings of jubilation;
And all redeemed join in the song; A mighty choir of adoration!
