As a child I was taught to believe in a God who created the earth and the heavens up above;
And with Jesus His Son, heaven's plan now is done: Full redemption for me, O wondrous love!
Ev'ry day that I travel along in this world I can trust in my God who will lead me all the way;
Ev'ry step that I make, ev'ry path that I take, by my side He will guide me ev'ry day!
What a wonderful thought just to know God is there for each trial and care; ev'ry burden He will share.
