O, let us exalt our dear Lord and proclaim,
In songs of true gratitude, praise to His name!
As songs of the angels in sweetest accord,
Our thanks and our praises shall rise to the Lord.

Lyrics
At the temple there was a man named Simeon.
Moved by Spirit, he waited at the door.
Then when Joseph and Mary came with Jesus
He called out, "Lord, I'll not wait anymore!"

At the council there stood a man named Stephen;
For his trial they said he broke the law.
He spoke boldly, his face was shining brightly
When he cried out and told them what he saw!

Dusty trav'lers were going to Damascus,
When I a light came upon a man named Saul.
He was blinded; the led him to the city
Where he told them, "My name is Brother Paul!"

On the island of Patmos he was stranded.
On a Sunday, John met the great I AM.
He was priv'ledged to hear the heavenly choir,
Voices ringing in the new Jerusalem!

Friend, consider your standing with the Savior.
Is He Lord of your life in ev'ry way?
Have you found Him to be a friend so faithful?
Then rejoice and the world will hear you say!

Chorus:
I have see with my eyes the Lord's salvation!
I can feel deep within my heart His love!
I can hear now His loving invitation,
"Follow me and live in heaven above!"
