O, let us exalt our dear Lord and proclaim,
In songs of true gratitude, praise to His name!
As songs of the angels in sweetest accord,
Our thanks and our praises shall rise to the Lord.

Lyrics
O how welcome is the Lord's Day,
Joyous Day for all the ransomed!
Day of peace and day of rest,
Consecrated to God's blest.

Hear the words of exhortation
From the Master of creation.
We can feel His love for all.
Heed, obey His tender call.

Ye redeemed, continue praising,
Joyfully your voices raising,
Thanking God for His great love,
Manifested from above.

He, who never has denied us,
But abundantly supplied us,
Took our sins and guilt away
And provides for us each day.

May this be a day of blessing!
In Thee, Lord, we are rejoicing.
He's the sun, whose radiance bright
Fills our hearts with warmth and light.

Lord, may we in fullest measure
Seek to do Thy will with pleasure.
Let us ever live for Thee,
Free from sin and vanity.

Father, through Thy word awaken
Us to faith and true devotion!
Zeal to serve Thee do Thou give;
Show us that Thy Son still lives.

For Thy fervent love we pray Thee!
May we ever striving daily
On the sorrowing bestow
Words of comfort in their woe.

Precious Teacher, leave us never!
We would follow Thee forever
Praying, seeking, trusting Thee,
Till Thy glory we shall see.
