O, let us exalt our dear Lord and proclaim,
In songs of true gratitude, praise to His name!
As songs of the angels in sweetest accord,
Our thanks and our praises shall rise to the Lord.

My Grace is Sufficient

Lyrics
Sometimes in our life there are burdens to bear.
We pray, "Lord please take them away."
Like Paul the apostle who asked for relief,
We wait for the words He will say.

In kindness and gentleness Jesus will come
To strengthen the soul who does run
The race set before him and patiently says,
"Thy will, not my will, Lord, be done."

Lord, give me the patience and grace to accept
Those things that are not to be changed,
And please grant the courage and wisdom to know
The things that should be rearranged.

With patience and humbleness one can mature
And grow in the grace of the Lord.
To trust and obey in His marvelous ways;
To miss this one cannot afford!

So if you are wondering why things are so,
With seemingly unanswered pray'r,
Remember to listen with patience, my friend;
He'll answer, "I really do care."

With grace in our hearts and a song on our lips,
We sing "He is worthy of praise."
In joy or in sorrow, in weakness or strength,
Remember these words all your days!

Chorus:
"My grace is sufficient for you," thus saith the Lord.
"Believe in the words that I say," so asks my Lord.
"Have faith that I'll lead you aright," commands our dear Lord.
And so I'll depend on His grace; I'll trust in my Lord.
