Lord God, we honor Thee
And praise Thy mild compassion,

So now again Thou hast
To us a blessing given.
Our handiwork is blest
By Thy good Word from heaven.
Thou blessest food and drink
Our needs to satisfy.

Thy living Word is sent
Our souls to feed and nourish.
Thou wilt that in our hearts
