Fill ev'ry day with song;
Banish all doubt and sadness,
Ye are a ransomed throng.
Serve for the joy of serving,
Bless the Redeemer's name;
Tho' we are undeserving,
Grace we may humbly claim.
Serve for His plaudit only,
Give God the glory due;
Ne'er shall the way be lonely,
Jesus will walk with you.
Serve in the task assigned you,
Labor till set of sun;
Then, when the shadows find you,
Listen for His "well done."
