O, let us exalt our dear Lord and proclaim,
In songs of true gratitude, praise to His name!
As songs of the angels in sweetest accord,
Our thanks and our praises shall rise to the Lord.

Lyrics
How bright the morning Star doth shine,
Adorned with grace and truth divine,
So glorious in the heaven!
Thou tender shepherd, David's Son,
Our King upon the heav'nly throne,
Hast grace and mercy given!
Lovely, Friendly, Fair and glorious,
All victorious, Rich in blessing,
Rule and might o'er all possessing!

Oh treasure that no equal finds,
Oh Son of God, Thy praise reminds
Us of our Father's favor!
Our hearts o'erflow with fervent praise.
The glorious gospel of Thy grace
Gives life and Spirit's savor!
Thee, Thee, Will we Hold forever,
Forsake never, Bread from heaven,
Of the Father's mercy given.

Pour deep into my heart anew
The godly light and heav'nly view,
The flame of love's pure fire!
Fill me with strength that I may be
Thy member closely joined to Thee,
Whom all my thoughts desire.
T'ward Thee Draws me All my longing
In me thronging, Since I've found Thee,
And Thy tender love has bound me.

But if Thou look on me in love,
There straightway falls from God above
A ray of purest pleasure;
Thy Word and Spirit, flesh and blood
Refresh my soul with heav'nly food;
Thou art my hidden treasure!
Now we Pray Thee; Let Thy favor,
Loving Saviour, E'er delight us,
And Thy precious Word invite us.

Lord God, my Father, mighty Shield,
Thou hast Thy love in Christ revealed
Before this world's foundation.
Thy Son is now betrothed to me,
My heart its joy in Him doth see,
And bows in adoration.
What bliss is this! He that liveth,
To me giveth Life forever,
And I praise His Name forever.

Lift up the voice and joyful sing,
Let all glad sounds of music ring
In God's high praises blended.
Christ shall be with me all the way,
Today, tomorrow, every day,
Till traveling days are ended.
Sing out, ring out, Triumph glorious,
All victorious, Bow before Him,
King of kings, let all adore Him!

O joy to know, that Thou, the Word,
Beginning without end, art Lord,
The First and Last, Eternal!
And Thou at length, O Glorious Grace!
Wilt take me to that holy place,
The home of joys supernal.
Amen, Amen! Come and meet me,
Quickly greet me! With deep yearning,
Lord, I look for Thy returning!
