There's a road that we're all trav'ling as we journey through this world.
And it's filled with many cross roads, many valleys, turns, and hills.
But, the Lord is there to help us, and we know he will be true.
For he is our loving Father. How he loves to help us through!

If you have not reached the cross road where the Lord will ask of you,
"My dear child, will you give to me your whole heart, your whole life, too?"
Then I pray that when you get there that you'll gladly give your all.
And if you've already reached it, how did you answer his call?

As we follow Christ's directions, he will keep us from all harm.
For along the path to heaven there's no reason for alarm.
So, we'll stay right in the middle, far away from ditches steep.
No, we'll never lose salvation if our pledge of love we keep!
