Lyrics
The sun is setting in the West; the evening shadows fall.
As night descends, Lord give us rest; watch over one and all.
Accept our thanks, O Lord, we pray, for granting us Thy grace;
For faithfulness thro'out this day, our trust in Thee we place.
Forgive, O Lord, where we did err, in word or thought or deed.
Redeem us, keep us in Thy care; may we Thy teachings heed.
How wonderful Thy peace this day; O Lord, Thy praise we sing.
Watch over us this night, we pray, 'til morning Thou wouldst bring.
From morning light to setting sun, life's little day will be.
Eternity is soon begun; may we Thy glory see. Amen.
As night descends, Lord give us rest; watch over one and all.
Accept our thanks, O Lord, we pray, for granting us Thy grace;
Amen.
