Lord, now with me, abide!
As in faith I look to Thee,
And pray with me reside!
E'en tho' the night
Be dark and drear,
Trusting Thy pow'r, I have no cause for fear!
Oh! may Thy forgiveness be on me
For failings in this day.
Now in faith I pray to Thee,
"Oh, Lord, please with my stay!"
In Thy great love I'll e'er abide,
Trusting Thy pow'r, I will walk by Thy side!
When morning awakes, night's shadows flee,
May I dear Lord, look to Thee.
In the early, waking hours
Thy will, dear Lord, I'll seek.
Lead me in righteous paths today,
Trusting Thy pow'r to guide me all the way!
