O, let us exalt our dear Lord and proclaim,
In songs of true gratitude, praise to His name!
As songs of the angels in sweetest accord,
Our thanks and our praises shall rise to the Lord.

Lyrics
When I come to the end of a long, toilsome day,
And I feel so tired and worn,
I just look up to my heavenly Home,
My heart, God's peace, adorn.

So I'll strive in the life to fulfill my God's Plan,
And praise His great, wonderful Name,
All along on the road, He, my burdens shares,
Oh, I am so glad He came!

Oh, soul, if you miss in this short life you live
To praise my Redeemer and Friend,
And not take His great pow'r your soul to save
Your soul will never mend.

Chorus:
For He's the good Shepherd who died for His own,
His sheep He will never forsake,
Just to call Him my Lord, does true peace afford,
This tho't my heart e'er will partake.
