If I cannot on Christ believe
Then He will me on this earth leave.
If I cannot perceive God's call
And prostrate at His feet then fall,
If I cannot repent in tears
For crucifying Christ for years,
If I cannot confess to man,
My sins, How faithless then I am.

If I cannot forgive my Brethr'n
Then I don't have a Home in Heav'n.
If I cannot forsake this world,
Where strife and hate and wrath are hurled,
If I cannot crucify "self",
Then my soul is not in good health.
If I cannot be reconciled
Then I cannot be called God's child.

If I cannot obey guidelines,
Then I will not the Promise find.
If I cannot admit "I'm naught",
Then lost is all the good I've sought,
If I cannot remember that
Compared to God, I'm but a gnat,
If I cannot give Christ my all,
Then I'm not following Jesus' call.
