Wonderful the power of Christ our King,
Mighty to save is He;
Many that now sleep in the dust will sing,
At His coming they shall resurrected be.
Only for a season can death hold sway,
Life shall the victor be;
Saints shall be triumphant on that glad day
When their bodies shall arise forever free.
Many are the partings on earth below,
Dear ones must say goodbye!
But a glad reunion we then shall know
In that blessed country where we cannot die.
Marvelous redemption for all mankind,
Gracious and broad indeed;
Uttermost salvation in Christ we find,
All-sufficient to supply our ev'ry need.
