O, let us exalt our dear Lord and proclaim,
In songs of true gratitude, praise to His name!
As songs of the angels in sweetest accord,
Our thanks and our praises shall rise to the Lord.

No Room For The Saviour

Lyrics
No room for the Saviour, no room in the inn,
No place in its shelter, without nor within;
And yet in its shadow the comrade of kine
Was born in the darkness, your Saviour and mine.

Not linen nor purple befitting a King,
Could Mary, His mother, to Bethlehem bring.
No triumphs nor heralds His birth to proclaim,
But God sent His angels to tell of His name.

No room for the Saviour, my heart, like an inn,
Is closed to His entrance, so crowded with sin?
Ah, no, Son of Mary, 'tis open for Thee,
My comrade forever and ever to be.
