O, let us exalt our dear Lord and proclaim,
In songs of true gratitude, praise to His name!
As songs of the angels in sweetest accord,
Our thanks and our praises shall rise to the Lord.

Lyrics
There was a father in despair; his son was very ill.
The doctors said there was no cure: he surely now would die!
He took him to the Lord who asked him, "Can you now believe?"
Then all around the Savior heard this loving father cry!

A storm had come, the ship was tossed upon the raging sea.
The fishermen were frightened now; there was no time to think!
Then Jesus came across the waves, bid Peter come to Him.
Bold Peter went but was afraid and cried out, "Lord, I sink!"

My life was empty and it seemed no purpose I could find.
I was a sinner who was lost and could not find the way!
Then Jesus called, "Please follow Me and do not look behind!"
I took that step of faith to Him and with these words did say:

Sometimes around us things can happen we don't understand.
It shakes our faith and confidence and darkens up our day!
But just remember what the Savior promises to you:
"Believe on Me and trust in Me; I'm with you all the way!"

Chorus:
O Lord, yes I believe! Just help my unbelief!
These fears and doubts compass me; no hope I can conceive!
That's why I turn to Thee, O Lord, for strength to see me through.
And now I feel Thy grace anew! O Lord, yes I believe!
