Dear Brethren, all, we say "Farewell."
The time has come to part.
God's plan we do not understand
To Him we yield our heart.

We've sung together, worshipped, too,
And shared a common love
Of Jesus Christ, our Saviour, true,
Who reigns with God above.

So if we here, for a short time,
In diff'rent churches be,
Let's not let Satan of us rob
That love 'tween you and me.

The tears run down, yes, that is true,
We hardly stop their flow,
When we think of the joy we've shared,
Oh, how we love you so!

But God knows best. In Him we trust,
If parted we remain.
We must believe it is His will,
Against it we'll not strain.

So, may God fill what void remains
As only He can do.
And, may He heal the aching hearts
And us, our faith renew.

For we on earth will not remain.
Short is our time to stay.
Our goal is heaven up above,
When time does pass away.

Let's concentrate, then, loved ones dear,
That we together be,
If not here, then in Heav'n above
Throughout eternity!
